Full to the Brim…
Some days I enjoy taking time to unwind. With a sketchbook and a pen in hand, I go to the beach, sit on a log and simply stare at the ocean for a while. Gazing at the seaweed, the shells, scrutinizing rocks, observing the birds, breathing in the sea air and listening to the waves is enough. I love drawing people in coffee shops, parks, and other places where they can be counted on to sit still for 5 or 10 minutes. The more double chins, bulbous noses, lines, wrinkles and unusual hair they have, the more interesting they are to draw.
